GYMNASTICS, when taught properly, can be the vehicle with which to deliver life long knowledge of physical fitness. Jumping, running, rolling, strength, and flexibility are the basic aspects of many sports. No better foundation can be laid than one built on the basic attributes of gymnastics. Although our country has recently regressed in this area of thought many of the world's most advanced nations still use gymnastics as the core of their physical fitness programs.
The lessons they learn at Acadiana Gymnastics and take with them when they leave, have very little to do with gymnastics but everything to do with self-confidence; an overwhelming feeling of self-worth; learning that they can face a challenge and succeed; and realizing they are stronger, braver and more capable than they had ever imagined!
